GOV.UK Online Data for Bloxham Primary School
Key Stage 2 Assessment Results 2019-20
As has been well documented, the Government response to the COVID-19 pandemic caused severe disruption to both primary and secondary school testing in 2020.
Although we were not required to submit our teacher assessed Foundation, KS1 and KS2 data to the Department for Education, we nevertheless submitted it to the Fisher Family Trust – an independent charity that provides data analysis and comparison between schools that submit their data to them.

In all areas, our results were below national, which is disappointing but it is also important to remember that these results are but one indicator of children’s progress through primary – and that the breadth of curriculum delivery at our school is not reflected in government figures.
The table shows that the progress children made from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 was average for writing, but below average for reading and maths.
Whatever their individual or collective results, we are really proud of our children’s performances in the Key Stage 2 SATs and indeed the results from Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage as well. If you would like any further information please do contact us.
